Usually I am between L and XL so I decided to go XL. It fits well so long as I don’t have a sweater on underneath (long sleeved t-shirt works best, and holding sleeves while sliding arms in jacket). Forearms are quite snug. I don’t go to the gym so those who are more bulky may have to go up another size. Armor in shoulders does have to be slid around to fit but seems to stay in place on its own fairly well afterwards due to friction. Way less bulky than my other jackets and consequently don’t have pinch points when I crouch forward and good length when I lean forward. Feels like less wind resistance thand many jackets I have in the shoulder area. Have been wearing in temperatures close to freezing which is a little chilly but still nice for around 30-45 min rides at modest city/low highway speeds. Hood doesn’t interfere with helmet nor does it flap in wind, keeps neck reasonably warm but still have another neck warmer for the front on longer trips. Zippers feel good, pockets zip up which is preferred. Doesn’t offer too much wind/rain protection but does dry off on it’s own reasonably well from light rain. Feels light. Think it would be nice to have more nighttime visibility with subtle retroflectives and possibly a very thin/subtle light neon green stripes or stitching for daytime or general flair.”, emphasis on subtle. Took 3 rides to break in, gone for 6 so far.

I've worn a few armored hoodies, but all were missing what the H.C Canadian delivers. Weather proofing, a zipper for easy removal and solid protection. The styling is also next level, as i can go anywhere wearing it without advertising to everyone that i ride a motorcycle. It has a sporty feel to it, but looks good no matter what type of motorcycle you ride. I wish there were more color options, but when it comes to form and function J.R knocked it out of the park with this one.
