I bought the Hoody after a lot of looking online for better jacket than the one i am using now (RICHMOND WAXED CANVAS/MESH JACKET). what first caught my eye was the new web armor, I love that its 30% thinner then joes vault. The one bigger issue I have with buying this "hoody" was 4 out of 5 other web sets had the wrong description! (they all had the one for there snow racing jacket). Seeing that the old one out was Joe Rockets web page i thought i would take a chance on it for my upcoming trip (Prince George BC to Prince Rupert BC via route 16 in the end/beginning of April/May. Getting the Hoddy was not painful one bit. (i think i took around 5 days) Outside of the wrong description the only complaints i have with this is 1) There is no pockets outside of the hand pockets, i feel at least one inside pocket for your papers and walet. 2) There is no venting in the "Hoody" what so ever, i feel 2 zipped ones under the arms or back vents would work well. The Positive side of the "Hoody" is 1) The new Web armor dose feel much more comfortable than any other armor I have used yet.( a few times riding i forget I even have any in.) 2) Its wind and water resistant (as it did rain/snow on my trip and all and all i was not wet or colder then you would think) 3) It looks sharp, when i had it on for the 1st time my wife did not even resiles it was even a bike jacket I wish that I could do a half star as i feel its a 4.5*
I've worn a few armored hoodies, but all were missing what the H.C Canadian delivers. Weather proofing, a zipper for easy removal and solid protection. The styling is also next level, as i can go anywhere wearing it without advertising to everyone that i ride a motorcycle. It has a sporty feel to it, but looks good no matter what type of motorcycle you ride. I wish there were more color options, but when it comes to form and function J.R knocked it out of the park with this one.
