Elbow, shoulder, knee and hip impact protectors are to be present in Class AAA and AA garments as a mandatory requirement, with the hip protectors being optional in Class A garments. EN 1621 impact protectors must be positioned in the garment so that they cover the appropriate body part, according to the relevant impact protector standard. Class B garments are designed to provide the equivalent abrasion protection of Class A garments but without the inclusion of impact protectors. Class C garments are designed to provide impact protection for areas covered by the impact protector(s) only, and they do not offer minimum abrasion protection. Jacket does exactly what I wanted, fully vented and flows air well! Ridden many times in +35C temps and comfortable as long as you're moving.
Had one minor issue with velcro on the sleeve coming loose, and customer service did a great job helping me sort it out (thanks Jenn!).
I ordered and XL, and I found it fits snug, I'm 6', 210 lbs. and cannot get the neck snap done up. Normally I fit into large jackets, but I read online that these tend to run a bit small so ordered one size up. I recommend that for others as well.
Overall good jacket and great customer service experience.
Jacket does exactly what I wanted...fully vents in hot weather. Ridden in +35C temps and still comfortable as long as you're moving.
Seems to be good quality material, should get quite a few seasons out of it.
Had a minor issue with some velcro coming unstitched on one sleeve; customer service did a great job (thanks Jenn!) of helping me get it sorted out.
I found these run a little small in sizing. I'm about 6', 210lbs, and I ordered an XL and I cannot do up the neck snap (not a big issue as this is a warm weather jacket). The rest of the jacket fits good, but I can normally wear a large without issue. I read online that these fit snug so ordered one size up. Would highly recommend that for others as well.
I am 6’2”, 200 lbs and the XL tall was a near perfect fit in the sleeves and body. After this summer of ridding, I will be back for a warmer jacket.
