The Great White North™ motorcycle jacket from Joe Rocket Canada™ features a water resistant Rock Tex™ 600 outer shell with a removable hoodie liner and comes fully equipped with removable Vault™ C.E. approved shoulder, elbow and spine protectors. The jacket boasts Sure Fit™ waist adjusters for an adjustable fit and a Variable Flow™ ventilation for better airflow throughout the jacket. 4 snap loops are included for pant attachment so that the jacket doesn't ride up and reflective trim for better night time visibility.

On the tight and short side

I tried the XL. I'm 5'11'' and weight 205 pounds (almost no belly). The elbow and forearms are too tight and overall, the jacket is too short. However, it looks good, but not on me. It's like if I had grown in it. I doubt the XXL would be much better. The fabric seems robust and the protections are included which is a plus. The collar is way too tight, it's really uncomfortable. to be comfortable, I must keep the zip of the jacket at about 2 inches from the top. If you have large shoulders and arms, buy at least 1 or 2 size larger...

Checks all the boxes

Finally a jacket that comes with the hoodie that I typically wear under my textile jackets anyways. Being able to take off both at the same time is awesome, especially when the sleeves don't get bunched up at the elbows. Decent cut and enough storage, although I wish there was an option of different color hoodies available.
Overall its been a great versatile jacket.

Great White North Textile Jacket

Bought the jacket based on my lack of interest in a traditional riding jacket. I’m 5’10” and prefer the large over the specified Medium to my size.
Good solid jacket but the hoodie is shmedium quality for a $300 jacket. It sheds on your lighter coloured clothing. I’d recommed your own black hoodie in place.

Great White North Textile Jacket

Overall, just an awesome jacket. Good protection. Super cool, rugged looks. Comfortable fit. Not sure what AM was thinking... there are snaps inside the sleeves to secure the liner. East on, easy off. I gave 4 stars since I think JoeR could improve nighttime visibility with some additional reflective piping or strips on the back. Happy cruising.

Great White North Textile Jacket

I bought this jacket and the only thing I'm not happy about is the hoodie sleeves pull out when you take it off and there a problem to get back in . For 300.00 dollars you think Joe rocket could have put a couple snaps on the sleeves to hold them in place but all in all its a really comfortable jacket to ride in.
